I'm in a group!! Hehe. I'm excited. This is totally awesome! It's all about plushies, which, of course, I LOVE!

I'm working really hard to challenge myself and to make new stuff. I'm really glad that I've got people around me who know more than I do, and who are willing to share their knowledge. Yesterday, I got to hang out with my mom for a little bit and she showed me a new stitch I can use when I'm putting things together, and it's so much prettier than the one I've been using! Also, I'm glad to give a shout out to my friend Rowan, who also knows quite a bit about stuff and wants to work with me on getting better and bouncing ideas back and forth. It makes me happy. She made me a buncake card yesterday! And a sweet little paper basket (woven!!).

I've been working hard on these little bags I've been making too. I've got 5 of them from last weekend alone... lol. Each of them successively better, I think, and more challenging construction. From just a simple little tote to one with lining, to one with lining and pockets, and then to a bigger bag with lining, pockets AND structure. I'm enjoying each one I make, and having a blast coming up with new ideas for each one.

I've got ideas for appliqué on t-shirts and also for cell phone charms. hehe. Soon, well, probably within a month, depending on how life goes, I'll try to open a shop on etsy.com . That's all dependent on how confident I get with my product and how original it can be. I'm trying to come up with a logo, slogan, and marketing schtick, and hopefully I can do all that, do my paying job, and still have time to make all the stuff I want!
